F-84 Thunderstreak (PSP5353F)

As a follow up to the P-47 Thunderbolt, the United States began production of a single-seat fighter-bomber known as the F-84 Thunderstreak. Although the aircraft originated in, and was used primarily by the United States in the Korean War, nearly half of the 2,713 produced were supplied to NATO forces. The Thunderstreak flew at a maximum speed of 695 mph, was armed with six 12.7 mm Browning M3 machine guns, and continued in service with the Air National Guard until 1971.
